*Synopsis :
In
a small village, there was a girl live with her mother. She was very beautiful
but she didn’t like to help her mother.
One
day, the mother asked to accompany her to go to the market. Actually she didn’t
want to do it but the mother persuades her to buy new clothes in the market.
Finally, she agree but she didn’t want to walk side by side with her mother
because they looked very different in which her mother was an old woman with a
simple dress and the girl very beautiful. Every time they met with other
people, and they asked who the woman behind the beautiful girl, the girl always
said that her mother is her servant. At last, the mother prayed with the God to
punish her daughter. Finally, the girl became a big stone. And until now,
people still can see tears falling down the stone. Then people call it the
crying stone or batu menangis.
